For over 30 years, Providence Haiti Outreach has remained the sole support for the St. Dominique School in Marigot, Haiti. Opening doors to 50 children, the school now educates and feeds almost 700 students every day.

HAITI FACTS

54% of Haitians live on less than $1 per day.

There is no social security.

More than 400,000 children have no parents.

1 out of 5 children will die before the age of 6.

Only 36% have access to electricity; 57% to clean water; 28% to basic sanitation.

Providence Haiti Outreach Impact

Sole Financial Support for St. Dominique School for over 30 years

Provides tuition for up to 700 children per month from pre-school to high school

Serves 16,000 free nutrituous meals per month to students and staff

Supports 90 salaries teachers and staff

Maintains a large campus including multiple classrooms, cafeteria, infirmary and recreational areas

We are proud to announce the 3rd Annual Derby Day for a Cause: A Gallop Towards Hope, taking place on Saturday, May 2, 2026 (the first Saturday of May), from 3:00–7:30 PM at 60 Amflex Drive, Cranston, RI.

In 2025, this event helped raise over $63,000 for the children of Haiti—and we are excited to continue building on that momentum!

Saddle up for an unforgettable afternoon of Derby-inspired fun, great food, and community spirit—all for an incredible cause!

Every dollar raised directly supports our 30-year mission to educate and feed over 700 children at St. Dominique School in Marigot, Haiti. Your participation helps provide essential resources and a brighter future for these students.
