I am thrilled to announce the return of Derby Day for a Cause! Last year’s event was an incredible success, and this year promises to be even bigger and better. Get ready for an unforgettable evening filled with fabulous food, exciting games, stunning decorations, raffles, a lively auction, live music by Timeless, a best hat contest, and, of course, a big-screen viewing of the Kentucky Derby—the most exciting two minutes in sports!
Most importantly, your support will make a lasting impact. Your donation will help feed and educate 700 children at St. Dominique’s School in Marigot, Haiti—one of the poorest countries in the world. The need has never been greater, and I’m proud to share that over 90% of funds raised go directly to the school. We are known as “the little organization that does big things,” and we couldn’t do it without you! Your donation of $100 will feed and educate 5 children for 1 month!

Our Mission Is More Urgent Than Ever
For 30 years, Providence Haiti Outreach has been the only financial support for the children of St. Dominique School in Marigot, Haiti. We opened our doors to 50 children and now educate and feed over 800 children from three schools. Since our founding, more than 5,000 children have been provided with safe classrooms, nutritious meals (often the only one they will have that day), an advanced curriculum and talented teachers. However, the urgency of our mission has intensified.

PHO is challenged to meet the basic needs of our expanding number of children at a time of unparalleled humanitarian crisis in Haiti. Terrifying gang violence in Port au Prince is affecting the entire country. Families are fleeing for their lives or hiding at home. Cholera is on the rise. Gas is $35 a gallon. St. Dominique School has become more than a place of education for our children, it is a safe haven.
